From Forgotten to Felt: A Somatic Workshop for Sugar Cravings & Binge Eating

When sugar cravings or binge urges hit, logic and willpower often aren’t enough.

That’s because cravings live in the body as much as the mind. From Forgotten to Felt is a 40-minute educational + experiential session that shows you another way—working directly with your senses and interoceptive awareness to find calm, safety, and choice

Originally filmed as a 60-minute workshop (with Q&A removed to protect participant privacy), this session includes both education and guided practice:

15 minutes of background on the links between awareness, regulation, and sugar addiction—exploring how sensory modulation strategies and somatic awareness create space between impulse and action.

A brief body literacy practice to tune into subtle internal cues.

A longer guided body awareness practice (about 15 minutes) that tends to feel deeply regulating—offering participants an experience of feeling alert yet calm, a state that balances presence with ease. The practice guides you to reconnect with “forgotten” parts of the body—like your ribs, behind your knees, or between your toes—to foster a sense of safety, embodied presence, and grounded connection.

💡 Instead of fighting cravings from the neck up, you’ll practice a physiological pathway for regulation—one that participants often find stabilizing, clarifying, and surprisingly soothing. You’ll leave with embodied tools, fresh insights, and meaningful prompts for continued self-inquiry.
