Hi, I’m Dr. Kristina.

I’m the founder of Beyond Binge Eating—a holistic platform for women who are done with binge eating, compulsive food behaviors, and sugar addiction.

I hold a PhD in Somatic Psychology, a Master’s in Exercise Science, credentials as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, and certifications in Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention, Mindful Self-Compassion, and more. (Feel free to check out the “Select Trainings & Certifications” section—because apparently I’ve spent over two decades gathering every tool I could find to help myself and other women heal…and yes, I have the receipts.)

My doctoral research has been called groundbreaking for its deep dive into how sensory tools, nervous system regulation, and body-based practices can actually rewire compulsive patterns.

I take an abstinence-based, embodied approach—one that blends neuroscience, metabolic optimization, and somatic practices with a lot of compassion.

And yes, I fully believe that dance breaks in your kitchen absolutely count as nervous system regulation.

My own struggle with binge eating and ultra-processed food addiction spanned over two decades. At its worst, it involved stealing food, eating from the trash, gaining 100 pounds in three months, battling depression, experiencing suicidal thoughts, and spending five weeks in residential treatment.

In other words—I’ve been there. And I would never judge you.

I didn’t fight my way out of that cycle just to keep what I’ve learned to myself. Now that I’m on the other side, I’m here to share the tools I wish I’d had earlier—tools that actually work with the body, not against it.
