Originally filmed as a 90-minute live workshop (with participant footage removed to protect privacy), this recording includes approximately 36 minutes of education plus guided experiential practice.
In the educational portion, you’ll learn why mindful eating is important, what the research shows in terms of benefits and limitations, and which key mechanisms are involved.
Then, you’ll be guided step-by-step through a structured five-bite practice designed to retrain your relationship with food. Through intentional pacing, sensory awareness, impulse tracking, and embodied reflection, you’ll practice:
Seeing, smelling, and sensing before chewing
Pausing with urge and anticipation
Slowing the chew and tracking sensation
Noticing shifts in hunger, fullness, and nervous system state
This is not about eating perfectly. It’s about strengthening the skill of awareness — the same skill that creates space between craving and action. Over time, that space becomes freedom.
This workshop offers a practical, body-based way to reconnect with food, your nervous system, and your capacity for empowered choice.
